Curriculum Changes and Requirements
  • NAU has a Certificate in Community College Leadership program that calls upon students to "demonstrate an understanding about involving key stakeholders in addressing ethical issues and creating policies, programs, and practices to enhance multicultural diversity in the faculty and in the student population."
Faculty/Staff Requirements
  • According to the catalog of 2023-2024, employees are required to take a training yearly that includes diversity teachings.
Resources
  • The university offers a number of courses on diversity in programs including Criminal Justice, Certificate in Homeland Security, Certificate in Community College Leadership, Management, Sociology, Terrorism and Counterterrorism, and Doctor of Education.
