- Northern New Mexico College operates an Office of Equity and Diversity. Its former director has since been promoted to the state’s government as the Deputy Secretary of Higher Education. The office remains active on Facebook, promoting Black Lives Matter protests, anti-racist books, and POC grief sessions. There is no evidence NNMC requires critical race theory-related training for its students or faculty.
