School Information: "Founded in 1873, Shorter University is a Christ-centered, four-year liberal arts university committed to excellence in education. U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review annually include Shorter on their lists of best Southeastern Colleges. The total undergraduate enrollment is over 1,300 students. Shorter University features a student to faculty ratio of 15 to 1.
General Information: Aside from offering a few courses that discuss diversity, Shorter has not engaged in any DEI or anti-racism initiatives. No mandatory Critical Race Training is being implemented.

Curriculum Changes and Requirements: As part of its 2022-2023 Academic Catalog, Shorter University's Nursing School states that one of its mission components is to incorporate social justice into "clinical preventions and population-focused interventions."
