"Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA is the oldest Catholic-Franciscan college in United States. Our mission is to help students grow into compassionate, successful professionals through a culture of faith, generosity, respect, discovery and joy. The University offers more than 50 programs (undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree) through three schools: Business; Health Sciences & Education; and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM)." General Information
St. Francis University has taken steps to provide anti-racist resources to its students and faculty. The university will be hosting the "Journey in Becoming Anti-Racist: A Franciscan Call" Zoom event, as part of its endowment series. No mandatory Critical Race Training sessions are yet required of students. However, see developments below:

Political Actions and Support for Anti-Racism
  • The university hosted the "Healing Racism and the Urgency of Now" seminar with Troy Cicero, Consultant and Trainer, MulticultuREAL Communications, Inc. It also hosted the "Virtual Community Book Discussion with Dr. Stacy Dewald, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander."
