General Information
St. Joseph's College has not released announcements pertaining to either its curriculum or mandatory training for students. However, the Catholic school will be hosting several anti-racist seminars/discussions on white privilege, race, and systemic racism during Mercy Week. No mandatory Critical Race Training sessions are yet required of students. However, see developments below:

Actions Taken

Anti-Racism, Bias, and Diversity Training
  • As part of the college’s ongoing work towards Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the college has listed progress of its many programs including establishing Talbot Scholars for underserved communities, providing “training for faculty on how to incorporate justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion into their curricula,” offering community reads to the college community on racism, providing DEI articles, and promoting DEI topics through the SJC wellness program.
