K-12 Education

Delaware passed a law in May 2021 requiring K-12 curricula to incorporate CRT into all classes:

It would not create new classes for students. Rather, elements of Black history would be woven into subjects like science and the arts, according to its main sponsor, Rep. Sherry Dorsey Walker, D-Wilmington. (source: source)

The governor signed the bill into law June 17.

Higher Education

No state mandate yet exists for colleges in Delaware to toe the CRT line. However, individual colleges and universities have implemented CRT into their curricula.
