"The Department of Sociology now offers an online Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Diverse Organizations. The certificate will be part of a Master of Professional Studies in Public Safety Leadership and Administration, jointly offered by UMD's Department of Sociology, Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the Francis King Carey School of Law. The Certificate in Leadership in Diverse Organizations is designed to equip leaders in public safety professions with the skills they need to successfully meet the challenges of today, while also building organizations that promote greater equity and inclusion."
