"As a comprehensive Georgia Baptist institution, Brewton-Parker College provides liberal arts and professional programs in a learning community of shared Christian values. Founded in 1904, Brewton-Parker College features a student to faculty ratio of 18 to 1. Over 25 academic programs and 15 minors are offered. The school has a total undergraduate enrollment of over 800 students.
General Information
Aside from issuing a letter in solidarity in response to the death of George Floyd, Brewton-Parker College has not taken any anti-racist steps. No mandatory Critical Race Training is being implemented.

Symbolic Actions
  • On February 7, 2019, Brewton-Parker announced that the college "celebrated diversity" at an award gala.
  • BPC released a statement responding to the death of George Floyd, stating, "We further grieve with our minority brothers and sisters in the wake of George Floyd’s death, pray for his family and friends and greatly desire to see the misuse of force and any inequitable distributions of justice come to an end."
