The student faculty ratio is 9 to 1. Millsaps offers 33 majors and 47 minors and its total undergraduate enrollment is 665.

Actions Taken

Disciplinary Measures
  • On September 13, 2021, Millsaps announced, "The Mississippi Humanities Council has awarded a $15,000 grant to the Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center at Millsaps College to support a new series of digital and public programs."
Resources
  • Though the event was eventually cancelled, Millsaps had planned an event for the 2020 Principals' Institute Intentional Leadership, and one of the featured speakers was an expert on Critical Race Theory.
Symbolic Actions
  • On June 2, 2020, Millsaps released a statement saying, "Sadly, the senseless death of George Floyd on May 25 and the ensuing peaceful protests with some turning riotous have brought to light heightened disorder - near complete disorder - with all of us struggling with how to address the feelings of fear, grief and despair."
