- Valencia College previously had provided multiple resources for its students following the death of George Floyd. The college had hosted a virtual series on social justice, focusing on "racial wealth gaps, human trafficking, immigration and civil rights". No mandatory Critical Race Training sessions are required of students. In 2023, the school committed to stopping anti-racist teachings following the new DeSantis law. See developments below:
